Bio: Leo Khudyak
Leo Khudyak is a classically trained pianist and educator with more than 25 years of musical experience and over a decade of private teaching.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Leo began studying piano at age five and went on to train through The Juilliard School’s Music Advancement Program and the Manhattan School of Music Pre-College Division, where he studied with Joanne Polk.
Leo later earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in Piano Performance and Entrepreneurship in the Arts from Purchase Conservatory of Music, studying under renowned pianist Paul Ostrovsky. A finalist in the 2012 American Protégé Competition, Leo was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall and returned in 2017 for a solo recital.
Today, Leo brings conservatory-level training into an approachable, personalized teaching environment for students of all ages and levels. His lessons combine strong musical foundations with confidence, discipline, creativity, and meaningful personal development.
